A center dedicated exclusively to bunion deformity
Center for Wu's Bunion Surgery is a dedicated bunion center. It is more than a bunion treatment center. It is also a research and education facility for the better understanding and management of the bunion condition. It is equipped with the latest direct digital radiography, CAD and F-Scan© function testing equipment to facilitate collection of the most objective data and evidence-based surgical treatment evaluation. It has already a large digital data bank of complete sets of pre-op and serial post-op photos, x-ray images and function study results of hundreds of feet for research. There is also an in-house bunion foot orthotics and post-operative protective footwear production facility. However, there is one service obviously missing and that is physiotherapy for a one-stop comprehensive treatment center. That is because 98% of patients do not need physiotherapy treatment after Wu's no-bone-breaking surgery. |
